Ethan will be 4 months old this coming week, and while the typical exhaustion that comes with being a new parent makes some days feel incredibly long, it is hard to believe that so much time has already passed by. While I will have the official stats following his 4-month well baby check next Friday, he was 13.5 lbs when we had him weighed last week, and we are pretty sure that he has passed the 25 inch mark in height too. We are now well into 6 month clothes because of his length.
Ethan is a funny kid when he is in a good mood, but is also a very demanding baby, which we are starting to work on a bit now that he is a little older. He makes me smile every day even though we are fighting naps constantly during the day. In fact, as I type this up, we are working on some sleep training. He is currently awake but at least in his crib.
Being a parent of a newborn is certainly the most challenging experience of my life so far. There are so many things that nobody can adequately prepare you for, but we are incredibly blessed by our little guy. We have decided that we will keep him. :)
