The Results Are In

Yesterday, we had our 20 week ultrasound, and we are thankful to find out that baby #2 is doing well and all indicators are perfectly normal. This one is definitely a fighter though. Just like during my ultrasound with Ethan, the technician had to chase the baby around (we've got another active one on our hands), but this one was not happy about being pushed around and kicked back. I was actually a little sore in one place for the remainder of the afternoon from a swift kick.

For the past couple of months, Ethan has refused to entertain the option of having a baby sister, even though that was what he was asking for about a year ago when his friend Josh had a baby sister. He seemed to be quite certain that he was going to have a baby brother. Well, he was right, and we are thankful that we don't have to work on changing his mind before the baby is born. We will remain on our toes with two busy boys in our house! It's time to start getting the boxes of baby boy clothes out of the garage after storing them for almost 4 years! And to start picking out boy names...
