So, for all of you wondering...
...Thanks to my wonderful tech. support member, my work laptop is up and running again. It has some new personality traits now. The "e" key doesn't function as well (it is kind of a hit and miss deal now), and so I have to be a little more forceful with it, but other than that, it seems to be okay. In just one day, it was very clear how often the letter e is used in our day to day language. My coffee mug stays a little farther away from the actual computer, and I told my boss just to fill in e's if my emails seem a little confusing from now on.

p.s. I onc spilld a frappucino on my work computr too...this was in Portland. It did rcovr but barly!
Sorry to hear it came back to life. Next time, try either turpentine, 16 molar nitric acid, or Classic Coke.
It'll stay dead for sure.
