Settling In

Our moving day progressed basically as planned...there were no major surprises or accidents. We have now spent two nights in the house, and a couple of major differences have jumped out. First of all, we have a lot more room. There is more than a 1.5 ft. perimeter around our bed, and we gained an extra room. Number two, we don't hear any noise from neighbors through the walls anymore. We had decent neighbors in the duplex, but it is amazing how accustomed you can get to the extra noise. Saturday night, I laid in bed for a while just taking in the silence!!

At this time, the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom are basically put together and organized. We still have some work to do on the office and guest bedroom, and of course, we have to hang up my photographs throughout the house.
